Renowned for his roles in TV series like “The Wire” and “Luther,” Elba, along with his wife, established the Elba Hope Foundation in 2022. The foundation aims to foster sustainable development in the U.K., U.S., and Africa, focusing on enhancing opportunities for young people and supporting community empowerment and education.
Furthermore, Elba serves as a goodwill ambassador for The King’s Trust, a charitable organization founded by King Charles to aid vulnerable youth.
