Public records from CBC News reveal that she is now registered to vote in Pennsylvania under the name Suri Noelle. Noelle, aged 20, resides in Pittsburgh and is currently a student at Carnegie Mellon University.
The choice of the name Noelle seems to be a nod to her mother, who was born Katie Noelle Holmes, known for her role in the TV series “Dawson’s Creek.” Reports from TMZ suggest that Suri has been estranged from her father, Tom Cruise, a star of the “Mission Impossible” franchise, since the age of seven.
Following their divorce settlement in 2012, which garnered significant media attention, Katie Holmes was portrayed favorably by celebrity news outlets for breaking away from a marriage heavily influenced by the Church of Scientology. Despite initially aiming for co-parenting, Holmes has predominantly raised Suri in New York City without Cruise’s active involvement.
