Quarterback Trevor Harris, who had a stellar performance with 23 completions on 29 attempts for 340 yards and two touchdowns, emphasized the importance of utilizing the next three weeks to enhance their performance for the upcoming final on Nov. 8.

Looking ahead, the Riders have two remaining regular-season games, one on the road in Winnipeg on Oct. 17 and another at home against B.C. on Oct. 25. The West semifinal is set for Oct. 1, with the winner advancing to face the Riders in the West final on Oct. 8 in Regina.

Head coach Corey Mace is strategizing on how to make the most of the next four weeks in terms of player recovery and preparation for the playoffs. Mace highlighted the significance of managing injuries effectively to ensure the team is at full strength for the crucial playoff games.

In a closely contested match against the Argos, the Riders faced some challenges in the fourth quarter but managed to secure the win with key plays. Kicker Brett Lauther’s decisive field goal in the final minutes sealed the victory for the Riders.

Despite facing a tough game, Argos’ quarterback Jarret Doege showcased resilience in his third CFL start, impressing head coach Ryan Dinwiddie with his tough performance. Doege’s efforts, along with Liram Hajrullahu’s field goals, contributed to a competitive game against the Riders.
