“Recall Alert: Dollarama Garlic Powder Warning”

Date:

Heavenly Spices brand garlic powder sold at Dollarama is under recall, prompting Canadians to refrain from using the product. The recall involves a 70-gram package of garlic powder distributed nationwide. The Canadian Food Inspection Agency (CFIA) issued the recall notice after Dollarama announced the product withdrawal earlier this week. CFIA advises against using, selling, serving, or distributing the affected garlic powder due to potential Bacillus cereus contamination. Bacillus cereus is a bacterium known to cause food poisoning, leading to symptoms like nausea, vomiting, abdominal pain, and diarrhea.
