“No Doubt Confirms Las Vegas Residency at Sphere in 2026”

Date:

No Doubt has confirmed their reunion for a series of performances at the Las Vegas Sphere in May 2026. This marks the ska-punk group’s first residency in over ten years, and it will also be the venue’s initial woman-fronted show since its opening in 2023.

Gwen Stefani, the band’s frontwoman, expressed her excitement about the opportunity to create a show at Sphere, highlighting the venue’s unique and modern setting that offers a fresh visual platform for their creativity. Stefani stated, “Reuniting with No Doubt at Sphere feels like revisiting our past while venturing into new creative territories beyond our expectations.”

Speculations about the reunion were triggered by a post on Sphere’s Instagram account, featuring an image of the venue illuminated to resemble an orange, symbolically referencing the band’s “Tragic Kingdom” album artwork and Stefani’s ties to Orange County, California. No Doubt later confirmed the news with their own post, revealing band members as the orange peel was removed.

The band announced six nights of performances at Sphere on May 6, 8, 9, 13, 15, and 16. Presale tickets will be available starting Wednesday at 10 a.m. PT for fans who sign up on the group’s official website, followed by general ticket sales on Oct. 17 at 10 a.m. PT.

Fans have long anticipated a reunion tour following No Doubt’s electrifying performance at Coachella last year, their first show since 2015. The band also reunited earlier this year for the FireAid fundraiser in Los Angeles, despite Stefani expressing doubts about a reunion back in 2016.

Although their 2012 studio album, “Push and Shove,” marked their final release, Stefani hinted at a potential reunion with bandmates Tony Kanal, Tom Dumont, and Adrian Young during a 2024 interview with NME. She acknowledged the challenges of aligning schedules but expressed optimism about collaborating again in the future.

No Doubt’s previous residency, named “Seven Night Stand,” took place in Los Angeles in 2012. The renowned Sphere venue, with a capacity of 17,500 seats and a cost of $2.3 billion, has hosted various prominent acts, including U2, the Backstreet Boys, the Eagles, and a technology-enhanced rendition of “The Wizard of Oz.”

Despite its impressive lineup, Sphere has yet to feature a woman-fronted musical act. Speculations arose about potential acts like Beyoncé or Taylor Swift, but Sphere Entertainment CEO, James Dolan, dismissed these rumors, stating that they are not in discussions with either artist. Dolan even humorously suggested building another Sphere if needed for such performers.
