The World Health Organization (WHO) announced that the Ebola outbreak in the Congo is showing signs of being contained, with no new confirmed or probable cases reported since October 1. According to the latest update from the WHO, there have been a total of 64 cases in Congo’s Kasai Province, including 11 probable cases and 43 deaths, with 11 of the deaths being probable.
The WHO noted that there have been no new cases reported in the past ten days, suggesting that efforts to control the spread of the virus in the affected areas may be working effectively. This development provides hope for the containment of the outbreak.
