In a hundred days, the 25th Winter Olympics will kick off in Milan-Cortina, Italy. Canadian viewers can expect 22 hours of daily coverage, expert analysis, and on-demand highlights from Feb. 6-22, courtesy of CBC/Radio-Canada. General manager of Olympics at CBC/Radio-Canada, Chris Wilson, emphasized their commitment to bringing audiences live action and medal moments in real-time. CBC/Radio-Canada president and CEO, Marie-Philippe Bouchard, expressed pride in Canadian athletes and the anticipation to share their accomplishments with viewers nationwide.
With over 2,000 hours of live content available on various platforms, CBC’s comprehensive English-language coverage will include broadcasts from all venues and pivotal medal ceremonies. Audiences can tune in on CBC and the free streaming service CBC Gem. Approximately 2,900 athletes from 93 countries will participate in the most geographically dispersed Winter Games ever, spanning across the Italian Alps from Milan to the Austrian and Swiss borders. Exclusive digital series will be available on CBC Sports’ social media platforms, including YouTube, TikTok, Facebook, and Instagram.
CBC’s top commentators and expert analysts are gearing up to deliver exceptional storytelling and coverage throughout the Milan-Cortina Games. The daily programming will be as follows:
– “Petro Canada Olympic Winter Games Morning” hosted by Ron MacLean and Perdita Felicien from 6 a.m. to 12 noon ET.
– “Bell Olympic Winter Games Daytime” hosted by Andi Petrillo from 12 noon to 6 p.m. ET.
