Set Designer for “The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel” Found Dead

Set designer Mary Kate Golding, aged 34, known for her work on popular TV series such as “The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel” and “Goosebumps,” was discovered deceased at her residence in Queens, New York. Authorities were alerted to the situation through a 911 call shortly after midnight, leading to the finding of Golding with a fatal stab wound in her back. She was pronounced dead at the scene, as confirmed by a spokesperson from the New York Police Department.

In a separate incident later that morning around 6:39 a.m. ET, law enforcement responded to reports of an unresponsive man near Astoria Park in Queens. The man, estimated to be between 30 and 35 years old, was also pronounced deceased at the location. Sources, including People magazine, suggest that the man was identified as Golding’s husband, Joseph Azzaretto, and indicate that the deaths are being treated as a potential murder-suicide, pending investigation.
