The latest additions to the PWHL now have their official jerseys revealed. The league showcased the inaugural jerseys for PWHL Vancouver and Seattle on Tuesday, a month ahead of their first match in Vancouver. The Bauer jerseys display the city names on both home and away jerseys. Both teams will unveil their names and logos before the season kick-off, which will be integrated into the 2026-27 jerseys.
Vancouver’s jersey is designed with colors inspired by the city’s natural environment, featuring pacific blue, cream, and earthy bronze accents. PWHL Vancouver forward, Sarah Nurse, expressed her excitement about revealing the jerseys and playing in them for the first time in front of the strong fan base in Vancouver.
Seattle’s jerseys showcase deep slate green, cream, and a river blue accent. The GM of PWHL Seattle, Meghan Turner, emphasized that these jerseys honor the league’s inaugural season with a classic design, symbolizing the journey that brought them to Seattle.
The PWHL season is set to commence on November 21, with Seattle facing Vancouver in one of the opening night games. Both teams were formed through an expansion draft process, causing the existing six teams to lose significant players.
Vancouver enters the season with a strong defense, led by players from the Minnesota Frost. The team also boasts notable signings like Hannah Miller, Jennifer Gardiner, Emerance Maschmeyer, and Kristen Campbell. Seattle, on the other hand, showcases a blend of size and skill, potentially fielding a formidable top line.
PWHL Vancouver will play their home games at Pacific Coliseum, while Seattle will compete at Climate Pledge Arena, which is shared with the NHL’s Seattle Kraken and WNBA’s Seattle Storm. The inaugural home game for Seattle will be against the Minnesota Frost on November 28.
